Community rules

Pitmates is for Formula 1 fans of all ages. Keep it friendly and about racing. Everyone accepts these rules before they post, comment or chat.

1. Be respectful

No insults, harassment, hate or threats, towards fans, drivers, teams or anyone else. Disagree about racing as much as you like, but not about people.

2. Keep it clean

No nudity, sexual content, gore or violence, in photos or in words.

3. No spam or ads

No scams, selling, links to shady sites or flooding the chat.

4. Be yourself

Don't pretend to be someone else, a driver or a team.

5. Respect privacy

Don't share other people's personal details or photos of them without their OK.

How we keep it that way

• There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive fans.
• Every photo is checked automatically before anyone else can see it.
• You can report any post, comment, chat message or fan. Content that several fans report is hidden right away until we look at it.
• We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules and ban the accounts behind it.
• You can block a fan from their profile. You then no longer see each other's posts, comments and messages, and they are not told.
